Pack Walk Rules
- NO ON-LEASH GREETINGS. An important part of proper socialization is dogs learning to be in the presence of other animals and humans, without the need to interact with them. No on-leash greetings during our walk are permitted.
- All dogs must be on a standard 6ft leash. No flexi-leads, and no long lines. This is just to ensure no on-leash encounters take place during the walk.
- Unfortunately, no human aggressive or seriously dog aggressive dogs are permitted at these group walks. We recommend private training for these dogs. (Exceptions will be made for people who have undergone training with us, and are looking to practice their skills).
- Puppies, and young dogs with no signs of reactivity should always attend our sessions that do NOT include reactive dogs.
- Any reactive dog who poses a potential bite risk to another dog should be muzzled. Please reach out if you'd like suggestions on muzzle choice, as well as how to condition your dog to their muzzle.
- You are 100% responsible for ensuring the safety of your dog, as well as our fellow walkers and their dogs. If you cannot physically handle your dog, please reach out for private lessons. You can only attend our pack walks, if you are physically capable of controlling your dog on leash.
- Try to save your questions for the end of our walk. We will allow 15 minutes extra to answer questions you might have on handling or managing your dog on leash.
- Please be kind and compassionate to your fellow pack walkers. Some clients are working through issues with their dog, and this group is intended to be a safe space for them to work their dog without fear of judgement from others.
